Objectives

This game will make you question how well you know your friends, how well you know yourself, and how creative you can be …. when faced with a moral dilemma.

Think creatively, flex your moral compass, and delve more deeply into your own mind, thoughts, and discomforts, as well as those you play with. Have some meaningful conversations, open up to others, and be receptive to thoughts that differ from your own. Most importantly...have some fun!

A deep dive into your mentality and decision making...I found myself enjoying the game the more I played. It was interesting to have to defend your point of view and why you would do something. I can’t wait to play it again.

Overview

It’s as simple as hero vs. trickster.

The Hero plays a Dilemma card leading them to make a moral decision between two choices.

The Tricksters attempt to change the Hero’s mind by playing a Deceit card to modify the Dilemma. Successful Tricksters score a point.

The winner is the player with the most points at the end of the game.

Dilemma Card

Dilemma Card

Dilemma cards contain two major parts:

  • the story, and

  • the choices.

The story sets the stage for the Hero as they learn about the specifics of the Dilemma they must face.

The story ends with a fork in the road, which brings the Hero to the choices at the bottom of each card- option A or B.

Deceit Card

Each Deceit card contains a title and brief description outlining the parameters of the card’s effect.

These cards will be played by the Tricksters to alter the story of the Dilemma card in some way.

Deceit cards may affect each Dilemma differently, as they rely on the Trickster’s creativity while playing them, as well as the parameters of the Deceit card itself.
